| Born and raised in Edmonton, Scott completed his undergraduate degree in English at the University of Alberta. After working briefly as a freelance newspaper reporter, he relocated to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and spent the next several years working in sales and service with Shaw Cable. In 2003, Scott applied and was admitted to the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. Upon his successful completion of law school, Scott moved with his family to Kamloops where he articled with Mair Jensen Blair LLP and was subsequently called to the British Columbia bar in 2007. In 2005, Scott worked for Saskatchewan Justice with the Commission of Inquiry into the Wrongful Conviction of David Milgaard, where he gained experience working with a large commission and sorting through evidence encompassing several decades. Scott has an interest in and has continued to study in the area of estate planning and wealth transfer. His areas of practice include wills and estates, commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate and commercial law and some civil litigations matters. |
